FIFA World Fifa Rankings

Fifa's World Rankings for November 2014 were published today at FIFA HQ in Zurich, Switzerland. The Fifa World Rankings are now published on Thursday and not Wednesday as before.

2014 world cup champions Germany remain at the top of the Fifa rankings followed by Argentina, Colombia, Belgium, the Netherlands, Brazil, Portugal, France, Spain and Uruguay.

England are in 13th place, up seven positions, due to good form in Euro 2016 qualifying, and a 3-1 win in Scotland in a friendly.

Algeria are the top African team in 18th place.

Japan Asian Cup holders are in 53rd spot. South Korea are in 69th place while Australia languish in 102th spot.

The USA are in 28th place, down five from last month. Scotland are in 36th position with Wales still in 34th. The Republic of Ireland are in 61st place unchanged, Northern Ireland are in 47th position after winning their first three games in Euro 2016 qualifying.
