Nakata to Bolton Wanderers
Fiorentina midfielder Hidetoshi Nakata could be on his way to the English Premier League side Bolton Wanderers.
28-year-old Nakata, a superstar in Japan, may be leaving Serie A to begin a new career in England. After starting his career in the J-League with Bellmare, Nakata has enjoyed varying degrees of success with Perugia, Roma, Parma, Bologna and Fiorentina.
If the move goes through he would be the second Japanese player to move to Bolton - striker Akinori Nishizawa failed to make the grade in a brief stint in 2001-2. Fellow Japan midfielder Shunsuke Nakamura has recently joined Glasgow Celtic from Reggina.
